The Extenda Vent is great

I got this LG - 2.1 Cu. Ft. Mode MVEL2125F to replace the engery waster MVEM1825F that I purchased a few days ago the MVEL2125F is a much better Microwave it operates as it should the fan does not come on every time the Microwave is in use. It is much quieter and energy efficient it also has a few other features making it a much better Microwave examples the Extenda Vent is great selecting the built-in automatic cooking options are much easier you can select the option and then number you do not have to repeatedly push a button cycling through options. And the obvious Its a larger capacity. The only issue I found with this model was the label that has the model number and specifications is missing the serial number but the serial number can be found on the QR code or the box. LG defective Over-the-Range Microwave Ovens. The LG 1.8 Cu. Ft Model MVEM1825F does not function as designed or as described in the owners manual the Vent fan comes on low speed whenever the Microwave is in use and it should not this causes the Microwave to be excessively noisy and unnecessarily wasting energy and when vented externally pulls the heated or cooled air out of the house wasting even more energy. I am not the only one who has complained about the vent fan coming on all the time.

Missing what was advertised but a good microwave.

I bought this for two primary features. The extending vent hood and the auto sync to LG ranges. The hood works great. The auto sync range was apparently false advertising. There is no mention of it in the owners manual and no setting in the app. I contacted LG support and was essentially told if the setting isnt in the app then this product doesnt have that feature. It was advertised on LGs website and Home Depots. I was told to contact home depot. I did that and they told me we get our info from LG contact them. So a reson I decided to pay more for both this microwave and the LG range is apparently not a real feature. No happy with that and not happy with the support/response and lack of solution. Otherwise its a nice microwave and does what it should. The extended vent is nice and is effective on the front burners of the range.

Need a working microwave

Am still waiting for a functioning unit having returned one to the store and am waiting for almost 2 weeks for LG to exchange a brand new unit that was delivered damaged with damage being discovered upon unboxing. Customer service is poor. Faster replacement of units that are defective and likely damaged in the warehouse is neded. We have stores that make you wait for the product they do not stock and then replacement of defective/damaged units is a multi week process that just angers customers.

Very happy with this microwave oven. Has many preprogramed cook settings and overall is easy to use. My previous unit did nothing to vent the front stove top burners but the extended vent feature actually works great The exhaust fan is not too noisy and has four settings plus a timed shutoff feature which is nice. The only reason I did not give the unit five stars is because the extend a vent panel makes a vibration noise when the microwave is in use which is kind of annoying. Cured the problem with a wedge of folded paper but have to be careful when using the extended vent panel so I do not end up with a paper wedge in my food.

Being a loyal LG fan I was so excited to find the stylish microwave with the built in powerful hood. Love the stylish finish. The microwave heats up food nicely and love the little sound it makes when it is done heating the food. It is amazing how the hood extender get rid of the odors all the way to the end of the range. The hood is powerful and it is not too loud. It is extremely easy to keep the microwave surface clean by using a dry rag. Highly recommend this product

Bought to replace profile that lasted 2 years. This unit is great . My one issue is the control panel does not light up. This issue seems to be with all brands. Maybe LG can find a solution. Loved the awesome model of this oven Loved how it has the extending vent exhaust which pops up to the front by a few inches to cover the front part of the gas range. Excellent display and the turbo exhaust settings too WiFi connectivity is spot on to connect/control via phone. Only concerns I had were the touch which is not ultra sensitive and have to push buttons a bit harder. Also its not fingerprint resistant upon touch does leave some marks. The music is cute but its too loud and theres only on off and no volume level for the same. But otherwise a great product.

I bought this almost a month ago after replacing 20 year old appliances. Love the upgrade. Reason for the 4 stars is I wish the key board was backlit.

Great Microwave

We have been slowly upgrading our kitchen appliances and recently upgraded to this microwave. We love the features of this for the price point PLUS is has app integration. I like the led lights how quiet it is and the pull out extending fan feature. A+ LG

Love LG Products

Everything works as expected. The fan really blow strong. Love the pull out ventilation hood. Cooks and warms great. I bought this to replace an older LG and it has pleasantly surprised me. It is spacious and all of the great settings come in handy. It was easy to install. I registered it online which was quick and easy as well. Gives my kitchen a new look. I highly recommend.

Attractive and Functional

This is a very nice microwave. It is functional and attractive with the matching gas range. It has plenty of presets and the added feature of the extendable range vent. The LED light has two settings and the end of cycle chime is quite pleasant. Overall a very good microwave.

Excellent Microwave with a few minor annoyances

The microwave heats evenly and quickly as expected the controls are simple and intuitive and it is relatively quiet when operating. After a little under a month I am happy with the purchase however there are a couple of minor annoyances. First I would prefer an option to select a simple beep to the tune that so many modern appliances play. Second the slide out range vent comes out too easily when inadvertently bumped. These are minor issues that do not impact the useability.

I donot like the feature: if you touch a number it auto starts in minutes instead of seconds. It is a pain in the ___ I wouldnt have bought it if I knew it worked this way the LG I replaced appeared to be the same model and you didnot have to push cook before you entered the seconds.
